I just wanna see the crew have fun man.

Don't mind him doing an episode or two but Donald basically going on a crusade to finger point at cacs.

Not what I expected from this season at all.

It’s not that deep. Me calling it rocket science was playing on the fact they are trying really hard to pan to critics this season. That was my only point originally with the rocket science comment, you are just going into a rabbit hole about it and idc.

This whole show is pointing fingers at white tho and the plot has never really been the focal point of the show I mean even the second season had anthology episodes the only difference is it what was with one of the cast members always

I get that but it would be nice if there were more shows for us and our sense of humor that weren’t trying to make race the central theme. It’s annoying and played out and also lacks creativity.

Examples of good shows that pan to black ppl without be annoying af are like Wutang, Grown-ish (all those shows), Abbott Elementary, killing it (Craig Robinson show), Southside (hbo), black Jesus (still hits even though it’s old now), last og (it’s okay).

Wish we just had more good shows that weren’t so dependent on guilting white america for ratings. Just be funny

I agree but with so much of Donald’s early thing being “I’m a black guy who likes White people things” it would be a disservice if he didn’t check white ppl since he knows his fans imo

seasons 1 and 2 did a better job at balancing this though. like you said, we had anthologies those seasons but they actually featured the cast members and added to our understanding of them while being detours from the plot at the same time

He can check ‘em on a different show tho. He done ruined the magic that was Atlanta by going so hard in the paint with it this season.

Atlanta was my go to smoke a blunt and chill and get a good laugh show. Now I just fall asleep 15mins in.

This season honestly sucks despite the great acting and great camera angles and scenery.
