i haven't really been confused about any of the episodes this season until the finale

i feel like a finale like that only makes sense if they drop season 4 really soon because what are we supposed to be waiting on? the character development is all over the place at this point, i appreciate the stand alone episodes a lot but when you abandon and kind of randomize the main storyline then having it be a TV show stops making sense

even at that i dont think they pulled it off that well

even if you can pick it up anywhere there should be at least some type of flow between everything imo

like i can go watch rick and morty from anywhere but im not gonna just start watching and theres these people who i have no idea who tf they are while it being the first and last time i see them while not having a single main character in the episode

like imagine that being the first episode you watch and then you watch another episode and realize that it had absolutely nothing to do with the show at all or the main characters. you didnt even know that there were main characters at all

its like they wanted to make it like black mirror whenever they got bored and if youre gonna do something like that it should be consistent not sporadic it just doesnt feel good

S3 felt like a whole bunch of ideas in a notebook that had little to no connection

its just a train of confusion

would be cool if the season 3 and 4 we thought we would get actually became season 4 and 5 while season 3 was just something to hold us over in the meantime
