How do you guys like your shoes to fit? A bit snug or a bit loose?

I’m really jealous of all the ppl who wear their shoes/slides hella snug like a glove cause my feet won’t allow it for most shoes. Got flat ass feet + I’m in between sizes so for shoes w/o half sizes I’m f***ed.

sneakers I don’t mind if it’s slightly loose but mule type footwear always looks better when it’s snug.

Realized a a year or two ago I'm in between 10.5 and 11 + flat feet make it tough

I used to think it was good for my feet support wise to have tight shoes and I'd always choke out my laces but I think loose might be better

im a 10.5 but i always size up to 11 for sneakers. I'll size down to 10 for boots

Sizing down on boots is something I've f***ed up twice

Got some doc mono 1460s years ago and didn't size down and they were always slipping

While not boots, got the doc eg collab in an 11 and they're huge on me

flat feet is a shoe killer tbh

makes sizing hard and destroys heels for me. i used to destroy my heels on my school shoes as well lmao

i f***ed up my cps initially by not wearing inserts but I think it was moreso I needed to go for an even tighter fit. Shoes are pre much destroyed at the heels (can see like splintering n s***) and i'd need to get a new pair by next year

Having a bigger rotation + beater shoes for long walks + making a mental note to really pick my feet up when I'm walking (my gait still f***s this up, but trying is something) helps a lot tho

For sure not wearing my Wallys til I heel taps em tho, my feet would destroy the heels in five wears or less

Snug, rather size down because you can always get shoes stretched if they’re too small plus the smaller the better proportions if you have large feet.

You can go to a cobbler and get shoes/sneakers stretched, I’ve had to do it a couple times
