Bout to watch my favorite gay couple review the movie right now though.
sad state
us gay people so used to cucking themselves watching straight stories and in many cases even backing them the most.
meanmwhile the straights are so used to seeing themselves in cinema they obviously dont give a f*** about a show that doesnt represent them.
How big of a % would you say this applies to?
Does not being interested qualify as homophobia? I know me personally I don’t care for rom-coms and romances. Like I would never watch the notebook.
Just seemed like his only gripe with the film is that the rom com is About 2 dudes, is all

I feel you. Also I should have said “typical” rom-coms/romances. Moonlight is prolly top 5 movies of the 2010s
If this movie was about a heterosexual couple instead I still wouldn’t go see it in theaters. Just isn’t my type of film, that’s why I kinda question the aim of these tweets but then again I don’t know how every straight male views these kinds of movies
Imma just plug these guys. Their reviews can be hilarious and they play off each other well (they only do spoiler reviews though).
I’m not the type to go to the theater for a rom com but I’ll probably check it out when it hits VOD or streaming cause it’s gotten great reviews
Off brand
is it gross out humor? cuz if so this coudl be f***in great. Im just imagining a gay version of American Pie/Superbad etc..

fish jelly?
Just so we're clear these are not my words
When all else fails, antagonize
I don't care for rom-coms in general, but labelling everyone who didn't show up as homophobes will not put butts in seats.
I cant wait to watch, defo going in theatres to support
the homophobia has made me so mad. every IG/Twitter/Youtube/Online ad for this is littered with annoying ass comments
and the content is naturally (and sadly) going to slice the box office solely because its a gay story
but sadly i think there are other reasons it did super bad at play too. Pandemic has definitely conditioned people to wait until smaller budget, 'non cinematic' movies are on VOD. Comedies themselves even pre pandemic don't really hit the same business wise.
And i also don't think gay people are gonna watch something 100% because its gay. i do, but Most of my gay friends just don't really like Billy or didn't think the trailer looked that funny
but i wanna watch it & i do wish it did wayy better
Nigga was making corny street youtube vids but people here swore he wasn’t a YouTuber

Then he should stick to that instead of bothering niggas on the street for his YouTube channel. Maybe then his s*** won’t flop
