Whaaaaat the hellll
Haha unless you have like a 120+++ inch screen, watching this at home is going to be f***ing GARBAGE. Probably even s*** in theaters but at least there you get what you paid for.
Godzilla vs King Kong is a meta commentary movie about Netflix vs HBO Max
oh f***, not bothered which platform gets it, gonna torrent anyway
Same, hope more movies will end up on streaming. It's been a pretty bad year.

If you think hollywood is going to keep putting the same amount of money into blockbusters like this once the theaters die out lol
The film industry will also become even less consistent with the quality of their films once the shift to streaming happens
Nah man this the type of movie made for cinemas
If this does go to streaming I think they should still do a Limited IMAX engagement for a week or 2
This deserves IMAX

Just saying that 75% of the movie releases could go straight to streaming. Some are so weak that they should even be free lol.
Leave the big stuff for theaters.
Just rewatched The King of Monsters today, I'm actually excited for this.
The visuals are so good in KOM. Just wish since they have people they did a better job with it. Besides the monsters fighting and visuals the rest of it delivers nothing worth having.
I still think Godzilla was great. Watching that in theaters was the most exciting time in the theater in a while when it came out.
Kong Skull Island is imo the best of the movies so far overall.

I hate the idea of theaters being for blockbuster event films only. 98% of blockbusters are either mid or terrible. I would've gladly paid to see Da 5 Bloods in theaters over Black Widow or Wonder Woman 2.

Not just block busters.
I meant that most movies are mid these days. Just look at the movies dropping next year outside of Disney and superhero movies.

can't really judge their list of films coming out considering the circumstances but Disney been trash for a minute now. They've completely become a parody of their selves, fully giving into reboots and nostalgia baiting.
A24 being a successful studio is proof that people are willing to see indie films if marketed right tho. There's plenty of films that have no business being in theaters like Sofia Coppola's On the Rocks but even then I like the option so idk lol

I enjoyed MCU ones, Aladdín, The Lion King and TS4.
Godzilla getting the s*** beat outta him

Kong seems to be wearing a collar so I’m guessing he’s getting taken from skull island being used to lure Godzilla out
judging from the pics the cgi looks more detailed than in king of the monsters lol
SO HYPED
think i might be the biggest Monsterverse fan on KTT tbh, as a child i always been fascinated with giant creatures and i love what Legendary is doing right now! Ofc i'd hope the Monsterverse continues after this, but Godzilla 2014, Kong Skull Island, Godzilla KOTM are all amazing and super enjoyable to me. I have no doubt GvK will hit just as hard
So thankful that the guys at Legendary put so much effort into finally making great modern Kaiju films with big budgets, i always dreamt about having that ever since a kid, and ever since watching Cloverfield and falling in love with that film as well
It's also nice to see the amount of respect they have for the established Godzilla lore
Can't wait to see Destoroyah, hopefully he will be the big bad in GvK, if not imma need at least 1 other film with him as the ultimate final boss

I need to continue watching the movies I watched all the Showa era ones and the first 2 of the next era
I have all of them on blu ray though including Godzilla vs Biollante which is out of print and worth like $100
