I would much rather be ghosted than whoever I’m talking to me to say “yeah I don’t really like you” in a message just for them to feel better about themselves

Hi Chip! I had a lot of fun the other night and it’s been really nice getting to know you but I just don’t think I’m ready for a relationship right now. I recently got out of a relationship and also got a promotion at work so I’m just not ready yet. You are a really great person I know you’ll find someone soon! I’m wishing you the best!

Yeah reading this kind of proved Chip’s point, this is respectful and straight to the point but it makes me feel worse reading it lol

  • I used to sorta ghost, but I think this also showed in my reply time and ppl usually realize they not a priority when u don't really be texting consistently, over time I'd just not reply anymore

Never really been an issue, seen some of these chicks on accident on da streets, I mean nobody be remembering s*** like that, unless u really ghosted during a more srs stage

Go ghost if you’re wronged, up to you to decide if you’ll take them back if they apologize. Everyone has motives or no motive for things they do. Asses and ask people and also be honest with who you’re dealing with. Our brain blocks negative s*** lol

Do the right thing if you’re in the wrong, closure matters cause you acknowledged the wrong and owned up to it. The other person may not care to recieve it or get triggered, or accept your apology and fix the issue, go your separate ways, or they continue to s*** on you.

its not a nice thing to read thats true, but if u get ghosted you’re just getting told the same thing with the added slap in the face that they couldnt even bother being honest with you after likely treating you the opposite way to your face lol

to each their own tho, ig why some people would rather be ghosted.

It entirely depends on your age tbh. When you’re actively dating in your late 20s (I was 29 when I met my partner) there’s no time for bullshit. Just let them know where you stand so they can move on and you can do the same.
