Im ready to hit this S***. Any tips on what strength training exercises to do to start off? I wanna hit my chest n arms primarily but I know hitting everything is optimal.
How do I go into it softly so I don't blast my muscles and end up sore for days?
Ima need to get my workout Playlist ready my Bose headphones sound CRISPY thru my phone. I was gonna use some in ear ones cuz they're low profile, but they don't stay in for s*** and they don't sound as good
Big W @op
For today do some chest and tricep exercises
Bench press, start w the bar and work your way up to a weight you can do 7-9 reps Focus on form and feeling contraction in pecs, your tris and delts will be hit as well
Cable pulldown for tri isolation
Dips
Pushups
You're gonna be sore after that's just how it is starting out
you cant neglect your legs bro. squat and deadlift at least once a week. similarly it's a myth that cardio kills your muscular gains, overall health is wellness, make sure you do sumn even if it's just zone 2 cardio real light work. thems is reps for your heart <3

Get on an actual program whether it's lifting, cardio, w/e. F***arounditis is a real issue
Been going faithfully since mid- January
I started very high volume doing lots of reps with lower weights, cuz i had a bad habit of overexerting and losing interest.
This has worked for me cuz now i have more patience and i know my muscles more intimately so i can do a proper pull or push and activate exactly what i want to work out.
My favorite exercise are dead hangs probably, i like what it does for my back as well as turning my grip into an iron vice and pumping my forearms
Might get into deadlifting but im a little wary
Just got home from the gym
Remember to get your diet right too
Ive been juicing a lot, speaking of dieting. Feelin good
Full body warmup and stretch daily are your best friend
Also get enough rest and nutrients in
idk what your goals are OP but this is honestly the best lifting program out there that fits most people’s goals

do you have any recommendations for vegan protein powder?
I wanna hit my arms and chest primarily
Nah fam do full body trust me lmao it looks so much better and its healthier
If you wanna squeeze in a few extra sets of chest/arms here and there go for it but prioritize your full body with the compound lifts
Tips: get a personal trainer
F*** that
There are literally thousands of free training programs online just look up how to do proper form and start off with light weights
You dont need to pay another man to teach you how to lift

That's a great way to get injured and never go back in the gym. There's a reason why even professional athletes have trainers. Some guy that has not stepped foot in the gym for years is not going to know how to lift properly by watching some youtube videos.
Don’t hurt yourself going too crazy
Hit a serious sprint trying to let out some energy after doing some lifts.
Was out of breath for like 5 min and got a killer headache
The good news is I got like an hour of exercise
