    How do I deal with getting a headache when over exerting?

    I lowkey noticed that whenever I hit the sack with a lady too. Maybe lack of water?

    Headache? That's new. Drinking water would most likely be the best idea, especially to ease yourself into the rhythm of going.

    Been going faithfully since mid- January

    I started very high volume doing lots of reps with lower weights, cuz i had a bad habit of overexerting and losing interest.

    This has worked for me cuz now i have more patience and i know my muscles more intimately so i can do a proper pull or push and activate exactly what i want to work out.

    My favorite exercise are dead hangs probably, i like what it does for my back as well as turning my grip into an iron vice and pumping my forearms

    Might get into deadlifting but im a little wary

    That's a great way to get injured and never go back in the gym. There's a reason why even professional athletes have trainers. Some guy that has not stepped foot in the gym for years is not going to know how to lift properly by watching some youtube videos.

    Its true he won't be doing everything 100% correct but he can know enough to not injure himself and honestly idk his gym but I wouldnt trust a trainer by default

    Hit a serious sprint trying to let out some energy after doing some lifts.

    Was out of breath for like 5 min and got a killer headache

    The good news is I got like an hour of exercise

    Jump rope is a cardio cheat code btw

    OP an important thing to know is to not try to overdo it your first day or two there. That’s an easy way to burn out and not want to go back. challenge yourself, but be realistic. Remember discipline over motivation

    But nevertheless congrats happy for you

    Start with light weights, lift with proper form, progressively overload lmao thats all you have to do

    You dont need to pay someone to teach you how to lift weights when the internet is right there for free

    I hadnt worked out once in my life and now im buff asf cause im not a ego lifter

    Bro the Y got a legit set up, same as any of those weight only bro gyms that cost like $25 a month, and top of that there's a plethora of other s*** to do like play basketball, go swimming, squash, tennis, etc.

    Don't regret signing up, I used to go to it a lot as a kid/teen and it was legit

    Facts but this is hardly an issue

    Long as the s*** I want to use is open, I'm good. Plus it's actually not as packed as you'd think. S*** is perfect.

    One thing I remembered was how consistently open the weight room was as a kid, still true to this day it seems
