You won’t grow until you want to give a f***
About everything you put your name on
It's Walmart foh
WHY are YOU working a job where you feel RELIEF upon being FIRED?
lack of options at the time,
need for money outweighs the ability to keep searching for better at the time cause u need to find something quick
I get what u saying, like don't make urself look bad in any situation,
just the fact that it's walmart makes it kinda funny example wise, like nobody should be proud of being the best at being a stocker at walmart
Out of the threads context, your question 100% valid, except
not everybody has access to the best options, or a good plan for themselves
Working at cvs rn and they threatening to fire people if they don’t sell s*** imma be out soon
If your “life is Walmart”, excel at Walmart.
You niggas have low standards and get triggered when you get called on it.
nigga my life isn't walmart i have other things i have and want to do. Im not dedicating my life to a store that obviously doesn't care about me and doesn't even give me basic human respect
Should of worked in second shift meats or produce. It’s super lax over there back when I use to work for them. Barely would get checked on & everyone on my shift was taking hour breaks & smoking dutches on the side building every day. Was cool job at the time
WHY are YOU working a job where you feel RELIEF upon being FIRED?
because it was a summer job between college semesters lol. my pops said i couldn’t stay at home over the summer unless i got a summer job
dude got fired no need to start telling him how he has s***ty morals lol let him live g

Is this a serious question? Do you not have bills to pay or something. People work s*** jobs out of necessity not because they want to.

aight when it happens, bookmark this thread and copypasta it

people projecting a larger concept onto a walmart firing rn so thats whats going down
How is getting fired working smarter
happier when u don't have to work there, and get to a better job eventually, learn some things in the process, that's smarter eventually

I don't understand what your asking here or trying to imply I would work at Payless or radio shack or wherever really if I didn't have a job.

Absolutely valid question
He cares enough to post to a thread about it
Why are you talking like Walmart is the only option for young guys
You should have pride in everything you put your name on and put in your best effort at anything you do

I mean I guess. Coulda just kept putting in a good effort while searching for alternative positions but to each their own

not just walmart, could be a bunch of similar jobs that might be the same type of environment, soul-crushing, low-level work
very easy to get discouraged at these places,
but u can't assume there's always a great option or path forward in the job market for 'entry level' positions
You should have pride in everything you put your name on and put in your best effort at anything you do
No you shouldn't. Places like WalMart, Amazon and target are not your friends they will fire you and replace you instantly. I'm not surprised people who work at those places don't give a f***.

100%
Not bragging at all just felt like sharing. It's not like i was a lazy worker that did nothing i did whatever they asked me before I left everyday i was there. having "Urgency" basically means killing yourself to get work done in a unreasonable amount of time, They would change my schedule the week i was working without telling me, they overworked the elderly having them do task they obviously shouldn't be doing, people were constantly complaining about having their hours taken away and so much more.
i got that same urgency bullshit, and i was never caught lacking lol. they give you more s*** than you could possibly do in a shift, then get pissed a walmart employee isn’t superman
I will say @OP if you don't want to repeat this situation, try and outline where you wanna be eventually,
set smaller goals, to how u gonna get there so u don't just repeat working at these low level soul crushing jobs again and again
