I don't think it's been confirmed to directly be in development but the Sucker Punch job listings make it seem likely. Im guessing Sony would also try to release it around the time the proposed film adaptation comes out.

Finally finished it. Idk if I made the right choice by the end.....great game overall. Hope the next one has more interactions with the locals and different style of side missions since that does get repetitive

They seem to be hiring for a multiplayer focused game dev role for ghost of tsushima 2, wonder if this means they’re towards the end of development and now they’re just starting work on a “legends” esque dlc or if multiplayer is a core component of the new game

My only concern is if it’s multiplayer based is if there’s enough to do to make that viable. It’ll be interesting to see what they do.

I honestly forget which one but the Dev has said which ending is the canon ending. I'm pretty sure they'll stick with Jin honestly

Honestly legends especially when you get into the bigger tales was some of the best multiplayer experiences ive had in a long time. It basically makes it so you can only matchmake with people that are qualified to handle what you are going up against which made for some extremely cool cooperation moments that are hard to come by. I would love to see a more fleshed out experience involving multiplayer stories.
