Didn't play a single second in English, even though the lip animations looked a bit funny with Japanese dialogue. Only frustrating thing was I didn't know what random open world NPCs were saying because they don't have subtitles for them
no subs for npcs? yikes. i might switch to japanese but that's a huge bummer.

The side characters you engage in cutscenes have subtitles, but just like the open world NPCs having conversations while you're roaming around and the enemies saying s*** while you're hidden I think don't have subtitles. Not much of a big deal, but would've been nice
I was wondering why I was seeing clips of this game circulating as if it was new. PC release
this game is f***ing goat honestly, its so beautiful
it's one of those games where you just want to do everything, even the pointless side quests
Absolutely love how fast the photo mode can pop out. Will post some later.
So far the combat is very simple but still very satisfying to pull off. Just unlocked a new stance. Didnt even know this game had that. Opens up the combat more so thats fun. I really dig the wind mechanic. Its a nice way to guide you with the actual game world instead of constantly looking at a line or map. The UI is so clean typically.

The wind and birds thing are so simple but they add a lot to the game. Makes exploration so immersive and addictive
enjoying the game so far but i'm not a fan of the way the game tries to "direct" you in combat. in pretty much every combat scenario i'll roll past an enemy and want to run to an archer or i'll dodge a spear guy and want to attack the enemy that's now closest to me but jin stays locked on to an enemy that is now no longer even on screen. feels very clunky and can be quite annoying when there's multiple enemies surrounding you and you want to be able to freely change targets but the game is insistent on jin being focused on a singular target
Really sucks I have to choose between the native haptic feedback with steam input disabled or have gyro/motion-aim on for the bow.
Using the bow with just sticks is ugly.

Correct you can turn it off

is that something that’s on by default? i’m not talking about a lock on like in souls game. i mean it’s like he’s sorta magnetized to one enemy at a time. i never messed with any of the combat settings so maybe there’s something in there that fixes it

oh i think i get what you mean now
like you‘re charging an attack on a certain enemy in front of you and when you release it he swings at someone behind u for example?
ironically, that is what the actual lock on button is for, so stuff like that doesn’t happen. but i never used it either so i feel you
you’ll get used to it and adapt. it was pretty much a non-issue after i got some time in

I think its off by default. The combat is fun but a little clunky, especially compared to something buttery smooth like Sekiro.
I played like 3 hours and dropped it. Finally getting back into it and this s*** is fun af and gorgeous
Lethal really does make the game way more fun. I f***in hate bullet sponge type difficulties so the fast paced feel of this is
You know you could've used another picture instead of the last one
you afraid of some male booty
