  • After 20 hours I finally got my Tio back

Been just combing and doing sidequests.

  • Just finished it after 60 hours

This is what gaming is about man, this game is insane. The visuals the music the atmosphere, it’s f***ing beautiful.

    the ending tho

Haven't fully replayed it yet but those side quests about his caretaker stay on my mind. I love when certain moments from a video game stick with me.

  • I played through the main story on PS4 at launch initially. I’m really just now truly revisiting it on PS5 and this game is just so beautiful. It was beautiful even on the 4, but it’s just something else now. I had the DLC, but never played through it so I’m cleaning up some side quests first and then gonna do that

    Having a blast

Make sure you play the iki island dlc too. Gives great background into him and the map is just beautiful

    yea ima do that content

    can't wait for the sequel

  • redtruth

They should have GoT 2 follow another character tbh, Jin one of the most boring characters out of all these Sony games

I think he's one of the best characters Sony has ever done

Welcome brother the cinematic storytelling, mocap performances, writing, visuals, everything really culminate in a moving piece of art. The relationship between Jin and his uncle is so heartbreaking and the depth to their conflict explores moral grey areas in a really interesting way. which ending did you choose?

the spare ending, why kill him? you have no honor anyway

  • platinumed! beautiful game, got the digital deluxe not the director's cut tho so I didn't get to play iki island

  • Bought this game for the first time just a few hours ago on my PS5 and this is without a doubt one of the most visually stunning games I’ve played. Whew. Also helps that it’s giving me a rock solid 60 FPS.

  • Man whenever GOT 2 drops it’s gonna be monumental

I guess I have no choice but to go in fresh. Wanted to launch it last night just to see where I was or what I was doing last time I played. Damn save data is gone lol if this wasn't one of my favorite games ever, I'd be pissed.

    Back on the island

Where do we all stand on when to go to Iki Island? One of the bigger debates amongst GOT fans.

The combat got so much more satisfying once I actually got a grip of using different stances against different types of enemies. At first I was mostly just parrying, but now I quickly switch between stances.

Yesterday I got curious in the middle of doing quests and ended up on Iki Island and now I apparently can't leave At least not yet. I got my hands on some new gear and techniques though.

Probably going to go through this for the first time after dropping it for whatever reason when it first released.

Was reading about how difficulty worked and was wondering should I do the hardest difficulty from the start? Stealth seems to be pretty prominent in the game and I like having a game be at a level of difficulty where I’m forced to use everything I have at my disposal.

Do enemies become damage sponges or is it better balanced than that?

Lethal is the most fun and satisfying. Hard+ just gets annoying with how tanky everything becomes.
