Yeah Jin was cool and all but I wasn't attached to the point where the game feels incomplete without him. His story wrapped up nicely anyway. I imagine he just goes into hiding from the shogunate after GoT and has a buncha babies with Yuna.

Would also put money on some Jin flashbacks/force ghost s***. He had to pass down the Ghost stuff to someone.

the beginning of the Edo period I see. Also looks like the indigenous Ainu people played a significant role in the region so maybe the game will feature them in some way too

I was actually worried about how good a GoT2 could actually be because of how complete GoT’s story was imo.

The game itself seemed complete but historically, the Mongols weren't done with Japan and Tsushima just yet. I was under the belief that if we did get the sequel it would most likely be the second invasion.

I’m sure they could have made it work if they kept it focused on Jin & the Mongols’ second invasion. I just think GoY will feel a lot fresher than that route.

One of my issues with a GOT sequel was how were they going to explain what the player decided to do with Lord Shimura at the end in the first one?
