Im not a sexist by any means. I thought they would continue Jin's story but it also makes sense to have a new protagonist because you dont want to rinse and repeat one person.

Im sorry if I insulted anyone by overreacting to a female character. I have nothing against that. TLOU 2, Both Horizon games have great female protagonists. Even in Mass Effect trilogy I prefer the female Shepard. Looks better and way better voice actress

At the end of the day its a videogame caring that much about historical accuracy vs gameplay is what makes you an idiot to be clear. The assassin could be a black trans woman for all I care as long as the story is well written and the gameplay is good. If they were doing it just to do it that would be an issue. However that is not the case.

Believe in people that spent 5 years working on a game more than your perception of a 5 minute trailer. You aren't some all knowing being nor are any of the grifters on twitter

The trailer was actually great. The comments were not. The main things I usually care about are the story, protagonist and antagonist. Gameplay honestly comes second at times. Like the first Mass Effect is a good example. Great story, great characters but the gameplay was ass lmao.

But the story and characters made you want to go forward.

I'm sure Suckerpunch did their homework and Ghost of Yotei will be good. They haven't made a bad game yet

First Mass Effect is one. Gameplay for the Arkham series is a bit dated now but still fun to play because of the story. AC Black Flag, Ezio Collection are still decent stories but again gameplay is dated

Fair point with mass effect, but I do think the other games listed had good gameplay for their time period. The Batman combat was pretty refreshing when it first released. The stealth mechanics were also good

batman and AC starting that formula was terrible for gaming

For Batman during its time period 100% the play was great. But playing it now is a little dated.The stealth was really good in Batman and I loved how they added it to Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War.

It isn't as good now but still playable. AC gameplay fell apart after Black Flag. I really don't like the gameplay from Origins on as much

It just needed to be evolved instead of being poorly copy/pasted. AK combat is phenomenal for example
