    If you only heard Broken Dreams, I could see that. But that album came out at a special time during the Bush era, and the politically charged songs of American Idiot & Holiday resonated with so many ppl during that time. I guess you were too young to realize the impact?

    Forsure. Real ones listened to that album top to bottom tho. I was blessed to see them on the American Idiot tour in 6th grade. Wonderful experience

    Holiday was everywhere at that point could not escape but it was funny because I had the album on repeat and hated on the singles lmao! American idiot is goat I miss those days but growing up just gives more growth and appreciation. I’m going to add st jimmy & whatsername back to rotation.

    Never could get into a full album, but Wake Me Up When September Ends, 21 Guns, and Boulevard of Broken Dreams are all classic 2000s rock songs to me.
