If you only heard Broken Dreams, I could see that. But that album came out at a special time during the Bush era, and the politically charged songs of American Idiot & Holiday resonated with so many ppl during that time. I guess you were too young to realize the impact?
Aesthetically. Green day started wearing eyeliner and stole red ties right from gerard way’s closet so they could have posters of them sold at hot topic.
Ive heard the entire album top to bottom countless times. its a good album. whatsername is great
