I saw the geek ||ending coming as soon as he started || drinking again
What I didn’t understand is what was the Dr angle? She did all that because he called her out and said she wasn’t powerful?
The symbolism with how he views old men like his father vs how he views woman like his mother was alright sometimes too obvious
I wasn’t completely sold on Cooper on the role some parts he did good other scenes felt like someone else could’ve given a better performance
Like others said it was too long, all in all it’s probably a 6.75/10 for me
I’d say she shot him because s*** the fan. If he takes the money and goes quietly into the night that would’ve been that.

But didn’t the money end up being all singles? Thought she was setting him up to fail

The movie takes place 1939/early 1940s. He could still get around a fine with that bread.
She swaps the money to enrich herself while protecting herself.
She still has a level of care/intrigue in him, just not over herself or to the extent that his bad actions will take her down too.
Her fake I love you ticks Cooper off then he checks the $$$ after realizing how much he has been played.
He won’t leave, I can’t be seen with a murdering trickester, now time to shoot him and set the stage for the police
Just finished it. 6/10. 1st act was boring Second act had some entertaining moments. And then it went down hill in the third act with an "eye roll" ending
