Drakes best album in many years due to the varied production and interesting musical ideas across the track list, but Drake himself still holds the album back with his boring subject matter, corny bars, and streaming bait bloat
Hopefully this break he’s taking puts things into perspective for him & comes back with something better than ever. FATD is a good step in the right direction.
Album is fire and will age like wine. Infinitely better than CLB. Last three albums been fiiiire.
CLB was better, better highs and more consistent. Drake sounds bored and depressed on FATD, he needs to get a job and a hobby
I like 10 out of the 23 songs. Has the same issues as most bloated Drake albums since Views.
Let’s say it was 15 songs instead of 23 and some of the ones he removed were the ones you kept and once we kept were once you didn’t like.
U woulda kept the same 6-8 songs if that makes sense.
So the “bloated” part isn’t the issue
Gotta love when everyone’s top 5 is dif. That’s how yk it ain’t bloated.

Better than CLB & HN for me, lot of skips but I have around 10 tracks I really enjoy. Pretty decent/solid album
Not in his Top 5. There’s about 6-7 songs I’ll keep.
Would’ve been a top 5 album from him if he cut 10 songs from this including the interludes.
It's a build your own album like CLB for me. Sequencing is totally off personally, so I just reorganize in a playlist.
In it's original form it's a bottom tier Drake album.
Was whippin through downtown last night, weather was a bit chilly but had the window down with the seat warmers on.
Was blasting Polar Opposites - s*** had me in the feels. Tracks a vibe.
8.4/10
Second best of this decade for me right now, just behind Honestly Nevermind.
Bloated, but there is no bad song on this album.
My top 5:
Draw a Picasso
Polar Opposites
Bahamas Promises
7969 Santa

Kept like 8 songs.
Drew a Picasso best song
love how he lets the 40 beat ride out wish it was longer lol
It’s pretty consistent but could’ve had higher highs to really make it a dope album.
For all the s*** I give CLB, tracks like Pipe Down, Race My Mind, No Friends In The Industry, Yebbas Heartbreak, and Champage Poetry stand tall. Wish this album had strong songs like those, only 2-3 come to mind (Va Beach, FPS, Polar Opposites)
Losing his touch. No quality control. Seasoned every song with unnecessary beat switches, outros, skits, and talking because he was so bored and unsatisfied with each song himself.
Entire album feels like a contract obligation.
Drake needs to stop making albums with 20+ songs. There’ll always be filler, which will never benefit him. Keep things short and cohesive.
