Did you read correctly? I specifically said how I feel about the announcement. If it’s more of the same as what we got before I don’t want it, if it actually goes into the books and details left out, high budget, more character depth, etc then I’m glad but they gotta prove it in the quality cause even without the missing material the films did right by the books imo

Lol this is just a hype builder for Warner Bros investors. Literally nothing has been made yet, and they don’t even have their show runner. What a dumbass tweet
The roles to me that will be by far the hardest to replace from the actors that played them in the movies, because in my eyes they were the perfect embodiments of how I read the characters:
All of the other actors in the movies (to varying degrees) were not what I pictured from the books when I read them (even Snape) — not to say they all did a bad job of acting though (obvi Rickman was amazing).
Dumbledore is how I will judge their casting most. Horribly terrible casting in the movies with Gambon. And I heard some people say Jude Law…I’d have to see him play the old Dumbledore, but I didn’t love what he did with the role in Fantastic Beasts tbh.
for people concerned with jk rowling being an executive producer just know that term really doesn’t mean a whole lot
drake was an executive producer on Euphoria and i’m pretty sure he did jack s*** for that show
Will Smith is an executive producer for Cobra Kai too since his production company still owned Karate Kid or something
Why not focus on some other s*** within the universe lol
This isn't going to be good

Hugh Laurie as Dumbledore
Hugh Laurie as Dumbledore
Interesting
I’ve honestly not seen a ton of stuff with him in it. Any recs on some of his best work other than House?

Stuart Little
I'm just not. The movies were great on their own. S***s not necessary. Focus on something else

Curious what a Venn diagram would look like of people that thought the movies were actually good, and people that like Marvel movies would be

Why should it matter anyways lol
She’s the author
Imagine telling GRRM we don’t want your input on House of Dragons
I’d feel absolutely terrible if JK Rowling wasn’t involved
