However I kind of know what to expect given the current time and shift in Hollywood

1)female protagonist
2) atleast one gay couple
3) poc as side characters

Hoping the main protagonist is Asian, Indian or Latin. Switch it up.
Also let’s follow other houses instead of gryfindor. Raven claw hopefully.
More action set pieces and duels.
Graphic deaths too

I don’t think they’ll even attempt to do their own version of Harry/Ron/Hermione tbh. This might be something completely different

It’s HBO they’re gonna do it justice. Hopefully it’s a new story with new characters tho.

I would enjoy a Harry Potter reboot. I thought the movie series was s***ty, particularly the last few.

Here’s my thing, if WB is really confident about Fantastic Beasts, I don’t think this show will reboot the book being that the FB movies are so closely tied to the HP movies

Don't think they'll be adapting that tbh. While I've not seen all HP movies and have only pretended to read book 3 for my high school book report but instead watched the movie, I feel like those characters are too iconic & ingrained in the public mind for them to reboot it like this & there's probably other unexplored lore they could work with.

JK Rowling is another matter I guess, seems to be getting a lot of backlash so will be curious to see if she is involved or if they're doing this without her (Although idk what's up with the rights).
