BD32Seriously surprised they're doing it so soon after the movie series ended. Thought they'd wait another 5-10 years.
The casting for the movies was absolutely spot on. Can't think of one character who was miscast, so that's the biggest hurdle if they go the Harry Potter route.
I just hope it's better than the Netflix adaption of A Series of Unfortunate Events. The tone of the books was so dark and they ended up turning it into a children's show

I didn't agree with them condensing 3 books into an hour and a half but as a standalone it was ok. The series is unwatchable though

KURCOBANEits just the fact that no one gives a s*** about newt. we already had a whole 8 movies with dumbledore as a side character, most fans was looking forward to fantastic beasts to get the dumbledore background story but they decided to make him a side character again and focus on newt when nobody gives a f*** about him
I can’t disagree, the fact that I completely forgot what his name was until you mentioned it speaks volumes to the impact his role has left on fans
.His character couldn’t be anymore forgettable.
