Die Lit dropped and the status quo of Carti has made him some avant grade figure. Fast forward to now we see what kind of cult fan base he has built and the type of behavior they divulge in. I thought it was trash until I heard it at rolling loud. That album is amazing and a classic. Truly a unique album that makes you want to rage. And no, the lyrics don’t matter. They’re simple for a reason. Long bars sound garbage in concert. Dudes like Benny the butcher sound terrible and boring in concert
