GlentotheOr do we reckon it’ll keep popping up in court and in the media for the foreseeable future? I never believed the nonsense as there’s so much inconsistency in the testimonies and parties admitting to lying. Doesn’t sit right with me that the slander his name even now after he’s long dead.

KingOfPopWhich is exactly what he did. He had to settle the civil trial to get a fair criminal trial after exhausting every possible option to have it go first.
Civil cases have a much lower burden of proof and hugely affect criminal proceedings
Jackson hired extortion lawyers which had to be dropped as part of the settlement
If your child was abused would you want to make an album singing about it? Look up EVANstory and that whole ridiculous lawsuit
Once the criminal trial was dropped there was nothing Jackson could do. Chandlers continued to cooperate for some time after but because they had their money stopped, and even after many many attempts no one else came forward so it had to be dropped.
The whole thing was extortion and many many lies came from it.
