Understand that MJ slander originated before the internet surpassed mainstream news as the forefront of information sharing. Combine this with the fact that MJ was on a 1 man stand against very powerful entities within the industry after he left Sony (Owning half of their publishing) during the later years of his career... and even after the feds did a sweep, tabloid scrutiny, misinformation and investigation after investigation for years after years... nothing!
