I'm not the only one who thinks these numbers are underwhelming, buddy.
People were expecting them to do more. Doesn't matter what you and I think. Those were/are the expectations after all the talk following both of their names these last few months.
Who else besides kaytray who is just trolling because you idiots tried to downplay J Cole?
"People" You talking about 2 random people on the internet. Nobody else saying this. I'm sure some people think the same way about DLDT but you'd have some words for them
Listening to Joe Budden Pod they talking about 200k is true absolute FLOOR prediction for this tape. Turns out it will be the absolute ceiling 🤣
They always get projections wrong though , see what they predicted for Megan the Stallion and UZI 😂
He wasn’t
Snoop was when ready to die dropped
Snoop was the biggest in 94
You srs? Doggystyle did 800k first week in late 93 going great into 94 and ready to die did 50k
Hottest =/= biggest. Nobody would claim snoop was hotter than biggie in 95. RTD came out like in sept or october. Nas had 94. Biggie had 95. Yall dont know what hottest is. Nobody gonna claim Eminem was hotter than drake in 2013. It's a dumb argument. Em nearly did 800k fw. Drake was hotter in 2013.
He gonna have a better album
Not if it’s 20-30 tracks
He might if it’s 13-14
Long albums this generation are terrible.
If CLB 12-15 it’s a lock for being better than lil baby album.

Short albums don't necessarily mean good albums and long albums don't necessarily mean bad albums.

Go back and look at all the old interviews/articles , I know it’s hard to believe but Snoop was indeed the hottest artist at the time lol

Pac was hotter than biggie in 95
PAC had Me against the world and hit em up killing the air waves
It’s a toss really, biggie and pac were the 2 hottest in 95. Snoop had 94 tho.
I won't judge Lil Baby off the numbers this tape does but I will off his next album. If it's your era, your numbers and stats have to back it up. There are no excuses to that.

Lol yea that's bullshit.

Snoop was the biggest rapper ever from 93-95
White people loved snoop and every old hip hop forum use to be 99% about snoop. Doing 800k first week in 93 for rap is crazy.

You're right. Hottest doesn't necessarily mean the biggest but your Eminem/Drake example is kinda flawed. Drake was the biggest rapper after Eminem in 2013. He was outselling all his peers and everyone else except Eminem in 2013 and he had the biggest hits as well. SFTB/HOWGH were bigger and more impactful than anything Eminem dropped in 2013.
If we're in the Lil Baby era, then when his peers drop this year, he should easily outdo them since he's the hottest (that's if you feel comparing his numbers to Drake will be unfair).

Yall love rewriting history. Lol
Lil wayne was the hottest/best/ number one in 2007 and he never sold well up to that point

So in the early 2000’s what kinda first week sales did you have to get to be considered to be one of hottest rappers. Take out 50 cent , EM and Kanye because they all equate to numbers Drake/Kendrick would put out in this era.

Snoop Dogg did over 800K first week with his DEBUT album. That's almost 16 times what B.I.G.'s debut did lol.
Pac was hotter than biggie in 95

Hit em up was 96. Ready to Die was bigger than MATW. Sold more during that time overalll, had bigger hits, hotter album. Pac didnt take hottest in rap until 96. Nas was 94 with Illmatic lol. No debate. Like I said before, difference between biggest and hottest cause nobody gonna claim eminem was hotter than drake in 2013
Snoop was the biggest, not hottest lol.
He was the hottest too
He was talked about more than any rapper from that 93-95 stretch. Death row was hotter than bad boy in 95. Bad boy ran 97 after pac died and snoop went to no limit.
Yall love rewriting history. Lol
Lil wayne was the hottest/best/ number one in 2007 and he never sold well up to that point
What album did he drop in 2007? None. And he proved he was the hottest in 2008 by dropping and doing 1M first week.
You can't claim to be the biggest or claim it's your era without the numbers to back it up. That's a fact.

Hit me up was 95 when he got outta jail cmon

That's the whole point....Lil Baby has outsold his peers and his album had a bigger impact....

Pop Smoke's album did better with fewer tracks. Lil Uzi outsold first week. Travis hasn't dropped since 2018.
