    that album was so safe idk who it was trying to appeal too

    vince is too mysterious atp to try and make bangers and the deeper songs were so plain

    sucks cause i really liked self titled

    it appeals to people who enjoy good music

    “Zero replay value” remains something stupid to weigh an album by

    disagree, if I only listen to an album 3 times one year why would I put it above something I listened to 15 times?

    i’m not saying anything about the Kendrick album itself, but I absolutely get where the twitter guy is coming from

    Why would I say that the Ken Carson album is better than the Kendrick album for any reason other than the fact I listened to it more though

  • Yeah this seems to be the general consensus. Decent album but not something we wanted from him. Whenever I see non-kendrick stans talk about the album or chat with ppl irl they all seem a bit disappointed given the long wait.

    Its not as technically intricate, as narratively meaningful, and arguably not as complete as a whole

    But its easy listening compared to something as emotionally charged and left field as Kendrick’s album

    If we’re talking AOTY then nah. Dawn FM, Honestly Nevermind, and Renaissance are all better.

    Songs that you pay attention to for one listen worth as much as songs you can have on repeat that just fade into the background
