Why would I say that the Ken Carson album is better than the Kendrick album for any reason other than the fact I listened to it more though
idk man, I just think at some point it’s okay to admit you think something is better if it’s something you like more, especially when it’s something as subjective as music.
idk if that’s actually how you feel, and I get what you mean, but overall I feel like the stuff I listen to the most is the stuff I would consider better

Fr, if something was your AOTY, it’d be expected that it stays in constant rotation throughout the year it dropped in.
The replay value argument does get overused and thrown out too often, but I think it definitely applies to AOTY discussions

Totally agree but replay value is so hard to measure
Like ive listened to mr morale more than any other 2022 album it honesty isnt even close so what is someone saying it has no replay value gonna mean to me

It’s understandable why some people wouldn’t wanna listen to Mr. Morale casually, it’s a heavy album that cuts deep at times.
However, insinuating that the album is not great or lacks quality because it’s not something to throw on casually or isn’t made as assessable is silly.
