i dont know if anybody disagrees. the thing is those in charge don't seem to care about rehabilitation or the homeless
Yeah that's the problem. Both sides of this don't understand how d*** addiction works and/or it's enabling homeless to go get more d**** when people give them money. I'm not trying to be "malicious" to ask people to debate me on this either. I just want to hear their views on this subject, I have an open mind on this
fr lol ppl don’t understand s*** gets tiring even if you not being outright malicious to have to “debate” with people why someone that looks like you shouldn’t be choked out
no one wants to entertain that after a certain point man. not all the time
Niggas in here talking about militant views and bullying people and s*** and I get it cuz this site is toxic as hell but like 23 pages going back and forth over a 15 minute chokehold kinda crazy
Forums have always been toxic
The people are unwell, and the current zeitgeist is way more toxic than ever before in my life.
But the format of discussion forums have always been toxic. There’s always been forum drama. The formats great but it always had a high chance to lead towards toxicity.
You might be right, but forum drama wasn't politics in 2008. Lol.
man i been in ny all my life and only seen some crazy s*** once and it wasn’t nearly this bad
Uhh I mean I definitely disagree we should FORCE people into rehabilitation lol. The resources should be readily available but that’s a slippery ass slope that I can’t imagine turning out any other way than f***ed up
See me and you are more alike than not.

what do you mean by force them though
i feel bad for the homeless. they have been abused by world and i hope they all get accepted to heaven and can live in paradise when they leave this cruel world 🙏

This is where you start to contribute to the problem. Most everyone “knows how addiction works.” That’s really not hard to figure out. Am I on another planet?
story infuriating me man. how can bro murder someone and absolve himself after police questioning in the same day. s*** is f***ing nuts
I'm trying to debate with people the fact that we need authority to force people who are d*** addicts AND homeless who threaten society to be forced into rehabilitation.
Ask yourself why you expect people on a Formerly-Kanye West music forum to debate you about forced rehabilitation
In voice chat even
I have a good friend that was 5150’d and she said she’d rather die than to have that done to her again. So no I don’t support that, but also I don’t have the knowledge to really debate that. Nor do I want to.

this is what f***s me up dude. i don’t really give the homeless money bc i know what they do with it. bought a dude a water bottle and he emptied it out and immediately started smoking crack or something. wish there were better programs to help them out
what do you mean by force them though
I don't mean "physically force" but I think there should be an option if they get arrested. Either stay "how many days there are" to whatever offense they do. Or a chance to get our earlier and restart their lives if they are addicted to d****. A program that rehabilitates them into real life.

I'm 100% how addiction works. I've been addicted to d**** and alcohol.

I’d say most don’t understand it considering our current approaches to the problem. The sentiment that we should punish / arrest / incarcerate addicts to me shows a misunderstanding of addiction. Or at least a misunderstanding of how to handle the problem of addiction in our society

sure, but you don’t need that experience to understand it. for a board that preaches empathy so much, y'all sure don’t practice it in any meaningful way when it comes to other posters. not you specifically though

Tubig, I get it. Me and you are more "mentally mature" than other people here. But at the same time there still is a good opportunity for us to at least discuss view points with others. By the way (I know) I found this site in 2020 about a Trump topic on Google.
Seems like plenty of users continuously think I'm f***ing David p. Why is this?
you and David f***in? 👀

Hell. Yeah that's what is so f***ed up right now. It feels like going against the "status quo" is looked at badly.

now you’re conflating the law and policy with general consensus.

True, but if consensus was strong enough against that policy it would change

what doe this mean
