all them niggas u listed ass
Haven’t heard a single in hip-hop rap song in my entire existence brother. Not even Eminem.
I only listen to R&B, pop, dream pop, and country brother

you gotta take this gimmick back to the drawing board chief
dons cool tho
@op right, but I think it's because r&b fans are not as harsh as rap fans. Plus R&B artists are starting to see that Rap is not progressing like it is right now.

rap is progressing heavy in the underground outside the overdone opium/yeat lane

No gimmick brother, just a country boy from MN

I'm starting to see that R&B is embracing the Afrobeats and Amapiano wave more than the s*** rap is making right now. I won't be surprised that R&B starts to find it's mainstream resurgence soon
I don't care for any of the artists listed besides Kali, but yeah R&B been hitting for the last few years honestly.

@op
Don Toliver been doing loads of afrobeats collabs he really tight with wizkid and rema
Chris brown 6lack and Brent also super tapped in to African music in general
I feel like in a way rnb music lasts longer in my rotation than a lot of hype rap songs
Tbh, I'm ready to hear some lovely, smooth lyrics with vocals than rap lyrics with autotuned singing like it's a romantic evening in section 8.

I like both the smooth raw s*** Brent does and the vibey autotune but still soulful don toliver/partynextdoor vibe, there's a place for both in this genre.
Alex Isley, Yaya Bey, Victoria Monet, Kelela, Ambre, Keiyaa, Samara Joy, Dinner Party, Marco McKinnis, Your Grandparents, Col3trane, Alfa Mist, Phabo, Joyce Wrice, Arin Ray, Ari Lennox, Khamari...like those all the R&B acts I been f***in with heavy for a few years or so now and I feel bad cause I know I'm forgetting people.
It's crazy how much better mainstream and underground R&B has been over mainstream and underground rap. R&B has lapped rap 10x over.
