Kee@op right, but I think it's because r&b fans are not as harsh as rap fans. Plus R&B artists are starting to see that Rap is not progressing like it is right now.

It's crazy how much better mainstream and underground R&B has been over mainstream and underground rap. R&B has lapped rap 10x over.

Hell no, especially when something like Never Enough dropped this year. Especially the more lowkey releases like Soul,present is pretty much better than any rap release. Baby Rose, Kelela, Kali Uchis all dropped incredible albums, r&b out preformed rap big time this year and tbh the last few years my g.

That's really only been this year where I'll say it's better than rap, but thats really only cause rap kinda taking a rest year.
Great rnb releases imo are not very frequent, compare to rap releases on the underground level all the way up to the mainstream level.
For every good rnb album listed, I can probably name like 2 or 3 good rap album lol
