Suge Knight would've forced Isaiah into dropping unfinished projects and enabled his bad habits. lmfao.
Suge would've dropped his music for him and dared him to say something about it.
Pretty sure SZA is still working on her album, she only started a few months ago
Maybe she scrapped the previous versions she's made due to insecurity
We need to have this pinned somewhere so people don't forget.
Dangeroo or watever is woat manager of all time. Really dropped the ball and screwed the career of every artist on his label. Even J Snore and Melatoninville more relevant than Kendrick and tde at this point
Y’all just be saying anything
So where was he? That depends on where you want to start. Consider the 30 days detoxing and surrendering to a higher power in an Orange County rehab facility; the time he was so drunk boarding a flight that the cops nearly arrested him (he still isn’t sure why they didn’t); the time he wrecked his Jeep; the other time he wrecked Top Dawg’s Honda but fixed it so that his label boss never found out. That time Isaiah — or Zay, as everyone calls him — returned home and swore he’d given up rapping for money, and the abyss he faced when he finally came back to L.A., dead broke, sleeping on a friend’s couch, having somehow spent all of his money on supporting friends and family, buying clothes, and eating “really expensive sandwiches.”
Idk where the entitlement came from some fans. I get everybody wants music and I know it’s corny but Artists are real people with their own s*** too!

ignore her she's a braindead ovo stan
Honestly dont know what this thread is talking about lol.
Only people that dont drop consistently are SZA, Isaiah & Soul. Who all also have their own personal issues that mainly delay their s***.
Everyone else is consistent, & they were focusing on Reason the last year or two.
Q is literally the biggest next to Kendrick & SZA, but it isnt the label's fault that he dropped an album that doesnt appeal to the mainstream or the hardcore. He literally tried to make an album "for everyone" that pleased no one which is how it usually goes when you try to do that. He really fumbled himself.
Rock is always niche & does what he wants as a vet, but he still had an album relatively recently. He always drops after long periods. Nothing new.
Sir & Reason are consistent af & probably the most consistent out the whole label with both feats & projects. They dont have a problem doing whatever whenever.
Skii & Zacari, well those two i dont know cuz i dont like them lol especially Skii. I dont keep up with them at all so i dont know, but i think Zacari had an EP in 2019.
Kendrick had Damn in 2017 & Black Panther in 2018 back to back. Its barely been 3 years total. Yall over exaggerate THE F*** out of his absence for whatever reason. I dont see it anywhere else. He will more than likely drop this or next year, he usually drops major projects within 3 years.
But yeah, its really not that bad overall.
To be fair, no one considers the Black Panther soundtrack when talking about his hiatus. He legit had one solo song on there
You release a sza single that went top 10 with little to no promo. Then you drop a video as the song is losing momentum, only to go quiet after gaining some of it back. Then turn around and start a zay rollout out of nowhere, with no album release in sight.
We 5 months deep and I got the same sentiment
Sza has a whole 3rd single ready to go for her next album but this isn't the way
Y'all just letting @GoldenChild get off saying lies and not having any sources to back up any of his claims lmfao.
Bruh we just do our best to ignore him. Even the slightest acknowledgement is enough valudation for him
All bs aside, I really hope Isaiah succeeds with this release. It sounds like that man has been through hell and back since the Sun's Tirade release.
I’d rather get an album every few years that’s gonna blow my mind and make me think
over a tape that I’ll listen to for a weekend and most I can say about it “ay this hard”
Lol what tde albums have made you think and what did you come up with?
THEYRE TOO BUSY SMOKING WEED
This actually makes a lot of sense Top dawg himself probably hitting blunt as we type

You can't claim no one counts it. You can say you don't count it. You don't speak for 7 billion people
This
Zay had a kid
You can’t rush it. Idk when the narrative became TDE holding hostage.
Just cause people be dropping tapes every year doesnt mean everybody has to
nobody expecting s*** every year its been 5 years these niggas not d’angelo
