That’s what I’m worried about tbh I was excited for Midsommar but if that’s not considered his best then I feel like I’m setting myself up for disappointment
Nah I've seen some who hated hereditary but liked midsommar. I'm just not up on the premise, that's why I'm not watching. it might be better
Is Midsommar worth a watch?
Its one of my fav movies ive watched this year and i personally liked it more than Hereditary
In fact i liked it so much that i rewatched it a week later, and i enjoyed it just as much
i was watching a podcast of people doing their top 50 horror movies so i ended up making a list then i said f*** it why not just rank every horror movie ive seen lmao. I would say #1-70 are movies that I enjoy a lot. #1-31 are movies i love. #160-205 are movies i do not like. Havent seen quite a few classics still as well but yeah.

Man don’t start that s***. Many movies overlap and I decided for my list I wanted to include thriller-horror-esque movies because when looking up lists people always include many of the movies I have listed on here. If it was pure horror it would look different but I’m not a stickler when it comes to genre
Rewatched today on Netflix. One of the best horror sequels ever
Name to post ratio on point
So there this girl at my work who I’m catching feelings for super hard
And she’s into horror movies HEAVY
What movies should I watch / ask her about to impress her and s***? 👀

That should be plenty. Hopefully she don't turn out to be some mainstream only jump scare dumby chick.
Good luck bro
Just watched original Suspiria for the 1st time. Story was kinda slow at first, But after 40 min it began to have some good s***, Now I know why they call it a classic Argento a genius, Photography and direction are so beautiful

BTW, Relic wasn't bad
I guess I will watch it, I have to see that and The Lodge

The Lodge was s*** imo
I recently watched a German possession horror movie called Luz and I'm close to calling it a masterpiece. It's not one of those movies you recommend to anyone. Filmed on 16mm. Only 70 minutes. Amazing cinematography and sound design.
If you like those arthouse..."pretentious"...type films where you feel the need to a***yze s*** after you watched, then check it out. If not, you'll probably be wasting your time.
Also recently watched Satan's Slaves. It was trash.
has there been any good horror/thriller movies released, that aren’t A24?
ever? like when are you saying
