Going through my bluray collection and hit Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) and now I am watching The Thing and The Thing prequel.

The OG The Thing really is a top horror movie. The practical effects, the creepiness, the originality even compared to todays Alien type of movies and the awesome cast. I love how everyone begins to not trust any of each other because of one creature. Such a well done movie.

I always watch Sleepy Hollow w/ my dad, The Exorcist 1 and 3, and then the OG Halloween on Oct. 31st

EDIT: not all four on the same day, Halloween is the only one I always watch on actual Halloween

Watching blair witch movies, followed by Sinister

After that, slasher movies!

It's my favorite, above H1 for me

The hospital setting was creepy af, combined with the gory kills.

It's the best of both worlds for me, you get a vibe similar to H1 and on top of that you get more gore and violence compared to 1978.

2 is my favorite

Ginger snaps has some amazing fall vibes Watched the second one and even tho it's not as good as the original, it still was enjoyable. Has a very different tone tho, it takes itself much more seriously which doesn't work in its favor IMO. I'll say go for it but dont bother with part 3

Howl is a pretty underrated Werewolf movie.

Not gonna lie, I grew up on this movie and seen it before London. It's actually not that bad for what it was, the trailer makes it look f***ing terrible lol. It's lowkey funny and a fun B flick. Kind of goes with Faculty and Disturbing Behavior for me.

I don't get it. Whats with all these Shudder originals having high rt scores but every other score elsewhere is low?
