    Insecurity is a mental barrier that you place on yourself.

    It may seem hard at first to overcome, but once you stop gaf about what everyone else thinks of you, you'll start to see changes.

    Listen to uplifting music, be aware of your thoughts and shoot down negative/ be more affirming. Treat yourself how you would treat your best friend. Be forgiving. Achieve things because your confidence has to typically be rooted in SOMETHING to feel authentic, so accomplishments/achievements. Self care, stick to a self care routine to look your best. If you look your best you feel your best.

    i mean for example if i go up to a girl and ask for her number and she says no im gonna be depressed for 2 days. I wanna be able to do that s*** without being affected. Not just that, i mean i just wanna be able to give zero f***s

    You gotta stop putting importance on impermanence. You got rejected. And? That whole process was probably 5 minutes max but you carrying that over two days? Life goes on, you need to go on with it. Figure out your values and what’s important to you. And try it more, learn from your mistakes trial and error and also realize that sometimes it ain’t you but sometimes it is. Youll never truly know so it is what it is.

  • @op having an idgaf attitude, embracing who you are, and remembering that everyone is weird/insecure/flawed in some way will 100% help you

    dont be scared to take L's, a lot of people are scared to fail, which only damages their confidence in the long run. you have to make mistakes to learn, we all human at the end of the day

    If he’s in his head too much & constantly bringing himself down. He says when a girl rejects him he thinks about it for days, a therapist can help change his perspective on these instances & create a new positive narrative for him

    I don't have any extreme mental issues so no, I also don't keep things bottled up and I have close friends when I feel like talking about real s***. Plus most young adults can't even afford a therapist.

    unless OP is really fearful when talking to people and show it in his posture then maybe yeah he might need a therapist but simple confidence issues doesn't really call for one

    Nah you said go see a therapist and get on medication based off the OP alone. You ain’t even have the context that you talkin bout in this post. No type of questions even tryna figure out his actual issues first. First thing you jump to is medicating the nigga?? Sure therapy can work but it don’t need to be the first option plus who knows about his funds. His issues seems like they can be handled by himself if he really tries.
