You could provide a solution that doesn't involve controlling individuals. Maybe get rid of factory farming and agribusiness. Go after big sugar etc.,

Everytime you walk into a store, there will be a mat that weighs you when you walk across it at the door. Like there's no way to avoid it. So they prices will reflect your weight. lol. the more you weigh, the more you pay.

Innovative idea. But I could see this doubly punishing the people who would benefit the most from losing weight: fat poor poeple lol.

Asians are thriving like that because of their cuisine and food culture, if you want to have a go at these things is ridiculously hard cus s*** so ingrained

Never been big on putting up more restrictions, regulations. The resource could instead be allocated into promoting healthy alternatives. Give subsidies to ventures looking to get into the relevant industries, work with tech at socmed level approach - campaigns, systems, things that could get people to be more invested in the topic. I believe homecooking is still the most underrated thing, people knowing better about food they consume and its more safe than food you get from outside. there's so much to gain and it works hand in hand with economy (long run) when more people out are buying local produce

    Define simple carbs

non whole grain bread/pasta/etc, chips, fries. all that cheap processed garbage that is abundant in grocery stores, convenience stores, and of course fast food.
