1. Do not study until exams
2. Get a good summary of your course
3. Wait till your gut tells you you need to start studying NOW if you want to pass
4. Start studying, start lightly (I never clocked in more than a 3 hour day at the start)
5. Accelerate (5 hour days)
6. Finish up (8-10 hour days 1 to 2 days before the exam)

Using this method, I graduated from one of Belgium's top business schools with really good grades.

Well I got the same routine, except 10 hours a day is quite long

Yes but that would have required attending lectures and having a lot of discipline. It also doesn't make you feel quite alive like my method does. You can conjure some mania if you do it my way and that's a pleasant feeling.

The Russian Roulette approach never appealed to me, except for my accounting exam. If I'm gonna do something, I'm gonna do it right.

That was always risky when I did that since I end up sending my first draft 5 mins before the deadline

Well technically it's study whatever you can in what time is left. Sometimes that's 100%, other occasions it's 80%. The tension right before getting the test, hoping you don't get questions about material you didn't really study is a feeling as well

Sending the first draft of my bachelor's thesis 5 minutes after the deadline while still being hungover as f*** is a feeling I'll never forget.

Deadlines are meant to be broken. And I just keep breaking them.
