those listeners amount to billions of streams they're not just listening to one song or anything they're playing full albums and songs over and over. Monthly listeners trends up and down based on who has what hit but he's consistently at that pretty high number

Monthly lisntwrs algorithm is broken. I've been saying. Drake and bad bunny are the two most streamed artists of 2022 and they haven't even been top 10 in monthly listeners once lol.

Drake will have that same amount playing dozens of his songs specifically and continuing as consistent listeners all year. They don't drop off. He benefits from those figures wayyyy differently than a trending artist of the moment

The more meaningful figure is how many streams he's accumulating from those listeners not just how many users there are. That can mean different things for different artists.
