Nominally a long ass time, if you mean the institutions literally collapsing, the capitol building being uninhabited, the military bases unoccupied, etc.
If you see America in the more aspirational sense, as a set of ideas and principles, we’re pretty close to losing that battle imo, if we’re talking democracy instead of voter suppression, rule of the many instead of the few, regulatory capitalism instead of crony capitalism, civil liberties instead of totalitarianism, that all might decisively turn in favor of the latter in the next few decades, leaving us with a country unrecognizable to anyone with even a basic understanding of what this country has tried to represent
you think the underdogs will persevere? us normal folk i mean rather than the billionaires
More like China
who's winning a battle China or the US? whoever wins that battle will move on to take over the world. The answer should have been easy tbh

This a real scary question
If wars were still fought in a “conventional” military way would 100% agree, but realistically wouldn’t any attempt to do this, if it involved taking on rival superpowers, just end in nuclear annihilation on both sides?
I know this probably sounds like some tinfoil hat s***, but remember the rumors about Russia and the election. Maybe it wouldn’t be done alone. IF US, Russia and China were to be allies it would pretty much be a done deal, I mean I can still see nukes being dropped in a situation like that but idk that’s just a powerful ass alliance
More like China
China isn't that powerful if you really get down to it. They bully small countries but a lot of that s*** is bluster and Americans hyping them up

That’s a really good point tbh. Given that Russia clearly has a strategy to destabilise Europe, it really baffles me why a US government would seem to support that. I’m not one for conspiracies generally, but sometimes it does seem like Trump being “owned” by Putin is the most logical explanation for this
This a real scary question
and depending on that answer, do i stay a normal person with dignity or do i try to become a billionaire by any means possible with no reservations?

China alone accounts for 30% of the worlds manufacturing, more than any other country. They have the 3rd strongest military. And they have the 2nd highest GDP in the world. I don’t think we’re talking bout the same China lol
Hope I die in 30 years so I don’t have to experience anymore bad s*** that this country is going through

theres already a battle going on
and China is winning

Sure but the CCP is the epitome of late stage communism. Their death grip is slipping over the Chinese people. If you think that s*** has growth potential idk what to tell you

Haha that one is even scarier! The latter is genuinely probably the better idea.
I can imagine in the future the mood of the general public will turn against the super rich and u could have some sort of French Revolution type s*** starting.
The real worry would be that the government (so military and police) would almost certainly be on the side of the rich

I meant when tensions get high enough and it comes down to the ultimate warfare battle. Military equipment.

What’s Russia’s strategy to destabilize EU? Never heard that tbh I’m not very knowledgeable on world politics

Fear and control is all they need and it seems to have worked

No lol if those Winnie the Pooh memes are making it overseas who tf knows what they're successfully suppressing s*** is mad difficult to do in the internet age and when Xi eventually dies all hell is gonna break loose
Also Hong Kong is probably the most successful demonstration of all time against Communist China and it makes them look really bad on a national stage

yes, will the billionaires have enough money to have me slain? or will i have enough anger to overtake them with only a common person's arsenal? i'm just asking more questions without answers now. i think i'm going to to try to achieve great wealth by honest, sustainable, and humane means as best i can and if i am taken by this world, it was my time

They’ve been accused of trying to sway a lot of European votes in the same way they were accused of the US election. A lot of these (like the Brexit vote) they were on the side of whatever party / movement represented anti-EU interests. So seems like they support the weakening of the EU.
At the same time you’ve got the annexation of Crimea, and subsequently they seem to have amassed a lot of troops along the bits of their border that are next to European (and EU member) states. So I think there’s a lot of fear in those countries that they could be next after what happened in Ukraine

I think we’re going to look back on 2020 as the good old days

Definitely try to become a billionaire zero question
Edit: as ethically as possible
I think we’re going to look back on 2020 as the good old days
ha. i sure hope you're wrong.
It seems too realistic and plain easy tbh. If Trump wanted to achieve world domination, he could and we would be forced to deal with it. The US is almost too powerful when you think about it.
I think the US alone has more military power than the next 14 countries combined.
The US alone isnt as strong as the rest of the world together in a war like scenario. So no it is not possible.

If ur in the US I imagine a revolution would be crazy considering the legality of guns. Here in the UK the common person’s arsenal would consist of knives and bricks 😂😂
