USA is going to stop being the biggest world power in our life times tbh

It probably won't ever cease to exist though

i’m not 100% sure we will see a demise of the “US Empire” in our lifetime or even the next 100-150 years. i understand there’s a lot wrong with it and 100-150 years is a long time where a lot can change, but idk. tough to say really.

No lol if those Winnie the Pooh memes are making it overseas who tf knows what they're successfully suppressing s*** is mad difficult to do in the internet age and when Xi eventually dies all hell is gonna break loose

Also Hong Kong is probably the most successful demonstration of all time against Communist China and it makes them look really bad on a national stage

The ccp is more meticulous than you think. They have whole Muslim concentration camps that no one seems to want to inquirie about.

    Edit: as ethically as possible

you can't become a billionaire ethically lol. You literally have to use mfers. Also, the fact people think just anyone can be a billionaire is laughable

Might be shorter than that. China might take us right off the map like NLE Choppa if we keep getting caught slipping like this. This pandemic isn’t over and the worst of this economic crisis is yet to come. And all this civil unrest isn’t exactly putting people at ease.

The United States isn’t looking like a shining example of stability right now and if other countries can wither away or crumble, so can we. Happens all the time really.

The USA balkanizing into smaller countries or a loose confederation isn't some farfetched scenario imo, it could easily happen in our lifetime.

I also doubt the EU can survive in its current form as a supranational organization.

Crazy when you put it like that. Here in the UK I don’t think we don’t have the 2 term limit for leaders (not sure that we have any limit, but no one has made it past three iirc) - makes you wonder how different things would be if you guys had an increased / no limit and Obama had won a third term

We will fall eventually. Id say a couple more centuries before we get attacked for some reason. Quote this in 2220.

  • Jun 25, 2020

    1. We piss Canada or Mexico off for some reason and get attacked.
    2. China gets mad and bombs one of our Pacific territories or Alaska oil supply.
    3. Another U.S. Civil War where the nation becomes divided.
    4. A mass migration to other countries.

In a century or two countries will probably be an outdated concept

Imagine thinking this is the peak of the US and not the civil rights movement or the emancipation of slaves
