I just want to feel something
I can’t get out of my shell sober, I can’t forget about the past sober, I’m f***ed up sober, whether I’m f***ed up off something or not. Been like that since a teen. I was being held back for so long until I started drinking heavily, now people are no longer seeing me as an emotionless shell. But even tho I’m a Lyft driver as a living I PROMISE you I don’t drink and drive. I’ve always been against that and that viewpoint of me will probably never change.

I’m afraid if I open up too much I’d be sent to a mental hospital again and I been in and out of them in my preteens/early teens for suicide

Finding the right therapist can be helpful, not all of them are compatible. Either way it sounds like you need some help fam, escaping your issues through alcohol is never the answer
