Fax lmfao
Some people are fierce about their beliefs you’d be surprised lol
ppl seem to think politics isn't real life i guess?
like yeah it's only the people who make the laws lol
it depends. I can't be friends with Republican folk anymore though.
I've heard "you're one of the good Muslims" far too many times
So while they may not be racist around you they openly support racists and you see nothing wrong with that?
They never support any racists and they’re very nice chill people too
What are you trying to get at. If they were actually racist then I’d be running away from them
thats not politics
true, but also, it can be backed in their politics. like let’s say they liked trump because they felt he would keep certain races down and uplift others, that would be racism rooted in their politcs

we done here have a good one dizzy
i don’t even f*** with white people like that so the one’s i do have close friendships with are the “good” ones

That's why I said it's fine unless the relationship starts to become borderline disrespect and the difference in views starts to center itself.
I have some friends who support trump. While they don’t echo his ideology when it comes to minorities, I understand why some would be reluctant to be friends with them. However I usually give the benefit of the doubt. If they start spewing racist and homophobic bullshit tho I can’t rock with that
Now that’s F***ED up
HOWLING
racist stuff then i’d be like nah we can’t chill
but taxes and s***. idc
The thing is those positions also inform views that are on that front. I had a friend who was heavy into Hayek and libertarianism, cool, but then he told me that black people had to be inferior in some ways because otherwise they would be more successful in the free market at which point I had to cut ties.
ive had a few i checked over some s*** they’ve said in the past, mostly with regards to sexist s*** and they came around
otherwise best i can do for these people is be cordial in professional settings
i have friends who support trump and they are not bad guys. most americans vote on who they will experience more financial prosperity under for the next 4 years. they are not racist, xenophobic, homophobic, etc. but they have lost friends for telling them who they voted for. we disagree but i learn a lot from talking to them and i teach them a lot about my perspective too. much better than cutting them off
but i also have the privilege of being a white guy so there's that
I have friends, who disapprove of other mutual friends because they hang out with people who support trump. That to me is too much, while many of trumps supporters are f***ing idiots, you can’t demonize a decent person exclusively because they support trump
u can't seriously be implying that there is no racial bias in politics right...
depends what you mean i guess. theres some political views that are portrayed in media as being racist when the people who hold them arent considering race at all. a lot of the discussion around police comes to mind first.
i just mean that true racism isnt, or at least shouldnt be political. personally i think its gross that the correlation has grown so much in the last year.

watch me
What’s funny
Your friends support someone who is against lgbt rights and ur cool with it is what's funny

true. i think thats a smaller margin then is portrayed tho, ive met my fair share of trumpers, and not a one of them support him for that reason.
