The sad part is though Is that the way things operate in America at least
Is that so many institutions make a gross amount of money off of mental illness and d*** problems, that they don’t want to change much about it because income loss will happen to greedy institutions. Politicians also need it too to be able to use it for their running points and provide fake promises to fix it. They all just want to maintain where it is now.

What's needed is massive government oversight on a local and federal level that, to my knowledge, is completely unprecedented in modern America. That + an insane amount of spending, a total overhaul of the healthcare system, and an audit process/weeding out of bad actors that would need to extend across so many different levels that it's probably impossible

yeah we are where we are due to decades of policy

same reason we barreling towards a mass extinction

the reform needed to make substantial and long lasting changes in these areas has never been seen before, and i don't think it will ever be seen. it's just not profitable

what Maxx said is really all one can do. focus on yourself, what you can control, and those immediately surrounding you. and then call it a day

if you take the hate into yourself and you pass it to the next guy; it has doubled, and as he passes it to the next person it spreads all around the world.

if you take the hate into you, resolve it, refine it, take out of it something good and leave away the dross, then you will not pass the hate onto another person. it exits the world. the energy dissipates, there is no more oxygen to the fire to keep it roaring and going up.

this is the alchemical great work of transmuting the dross, or the gross matter of the soul, into the finest gold. the world can only be truly changed by one human being at a time making the sovereign choice to change something bad into something good.

it is much easier to influence masses, or anyone, by your own example of change than it is to force them in anyway or to convince them with beautiful words.

ACTUALLY ban children from social media

should need to be at least 18 to access it.

social media F***S with your head. especially if you are still developing/not experienced or smart enough to realize what you’re looking at is fabricated and fake. s*** some adults can’t even do that

The powerful benefit from this state of affairs. Any efforts to solve this problem would fail due to their reaction to this debasement of their power. It’s important to first uproot and replace the existing system in a revolutionary manner

anyway there is virtually no way to actually address the mental health crisis without literally restructuring all of society from square one. the best we can currently do is at least recognize this and work towards improving quality of life and giving people causes to live for and room for personal growth and ambition.

Social media pass. Have to show ID to get one to access IG/Twitter /TikTok/etc out of Walgreens then use the code to access said sites

This is my idea for p*** sites but I think it’s overkill for social media tbh

basically unless it was directed by the state in a highly specific manner with actual complementing bottom-up support for said agenda, you'd simply end up in a situation where what's taught is essentially just the regional equivalent of middle american faux-evangelicism

Making it so that minors are unable to access p*** is an easy sell for anyone who isn’t a nut case

Only feminist types, simps and p***stars themselves would be against it

you would be very surprised by the reality of who supports what and why. if it was this easy p*** would already be further regulated or banned. there's a reason why even court cases during the actual time when american was widely religious never succeeded in banning obscenity.

I’m not even gonna hold you, Idk what fracking is so I’m not gonna speak on it lol.

But I think as far as banning minors from viewing p*** most of the right is probably already in favor of it, and a good chunk of the left is too.

It’s just very low on the totem pole as far as issues go

I feel like it’s because p*** has always operated in the shadows. Like it’s mainstream af but you never really hear people talk about it the way you would a football game or something like that. It’s kinda just there and ignored.

But with it becoming more and more talked about you’re starting to see more conversations around regulation
