I been watching Fantano for years, and i gotta say
Fantano’s favorite albums are all wild, creative, forward thinking albums, that blend experimentalism with accessible, poppy, free flowing songs that have wild song structure, long track lengths, and a cohesive sound/theme
This album literally checks off every box for his tastes yet he killed this album
The only reason I care is because of the influence he has over his fanbase. I have watched the music public turn on multiple albums once he gave his opinions on them

He went out of his way to edit out him saying a "Light 5" at the end lmao. Probably saw the Metacritic/AOTY score and changed his mind.

Saturday Night/Sunday Morning Events:
New Donald music for us to listen to and wait out the virus through the week. If the music isn’t playing, then try refreshing and wait or play on a new device. Album most likely is looping through the night.
Music probably started playing at 12 am central time? It’s definitely his album though.
Just another thread to give some positive attention to an amazing artist to get us through hard times.

Wakanda tracklist is this

Lmaaaoo go ahead king
doesn't he hate on all his albums? this s*** isn't new
Yeah but he liked Awaken My Love because it was a complete departure from Gambino's sound and he liked Feels Like Summer and This is America because he actually paid attention to their lyrics because they were political.
Guy has only liked one of Bino's projects (only giving that one a 7) and calls this one of his most anticipated albums of the past few years
It’s hilarious that everyone was loving this album since it streamed on the 15th and it’s gotten mostly praise from everyone on KTT2
But then it doesn’t sell too well and a trash Youtuber didn’t like it and all of a sudden, everyone doesn’t like it lmao
Swear KTT2 some sheeps
The only track I’m not really a fan of is Warlords
And well Little Foot is Little Foot
But other then those 2 songs, I absolutely love this album a lot
It just sucks because of the rollout and stupid song titles and album title that this album will mostly be ignored

stupid album artwork too

Cements his cult status which imo is what he’s going for.
Donald does not strike me as a guy that wants all the mainstream adulation. He’s generally closed off even though he could be Will Smith.
After Redbone went mainstream, he was talking about how hard it is for an artist to avoid becoming pure pop when they become pop.
I feel like this is exactly that statement. Incredibly personal and not wrapped up in the opinions of others. Especially with what DJ Dahi was saying about them wanting something longer and tangible rather than a quick pop track.
As much as I still think it's a crime for him to tease Saturday and Human Sacrifice and not deliver (and that's not a changing opinion from me), I feel like that's why they decided to not put those on it. He's doing everything to avoid the pop status he easily could have gotten. Like goodkid said, he's maintaining his "cult status."

I doubt it lol, not like he hasn’t had contrary opinions on things before, edits happen. This Is America was his SOTY (IIRC), so it’s not like he’s out for the guy. I‘m a Gambino fan, but y’all are doing way too much rn. Shouldn’t let that bother you, critics are loving it, Fantano didn’t well damn it’s not like it’s the end of the world my g

Thats a true f***ing goat right there too. I love when artists who can easily stay huge and popular still put the vision first no matter the success. Only greats who are comfortable with themselves do that.
as much as i love saturday, would’ve been better if he released that the summer pack. atavista is the intro we needed. human sacrifice i kind of wasn't expecting after he said he was only gonna perform it live
He is kind of overrated now and I'm his biggest fan
aannndd back to being underrated he goes
