Lots of times when I’m talking to friends or colleagues or acquaintances about music they really only know singles and random tracks and features unless it’s an artist they stan
For example they’ll rave about a specific nigga then when I ask they fav album from him they’ll be like “uhhhhh which one has this this and this song?” Them s***s will be from 3 different albums

How hard is it to listen to an entire album for the average person then?

i can barely watch a football game by myself because i have no interest in it

i expect the same for someone who doesn’t have a vested interest in music
