this the most played-out gimmick i've ever seen, people been making these same anti-SJW/progressive jokes since 2016, do something better

S*** not even funny, but it also doesn't even upset me. Like dam you are really so dumb that's the best you got? I'm just disappointed. Spent all this time to make an alt and you look like a f***ing tool. Do better.

I understand your point genuinely I do and like I said earlier in a vacuum and on paper I agree with it.

But realistically why should a lender give you an interest free loan with no incentive for them.

Let’s more this away from theoretically and how this can be implemented in the real world.

an interest free loan doesnt make sense, but using a loan to take advantage of someone is not right

I’m not disagreeing there’s no incentive for a lender to do that. How the current economic system is set up (maximizing gains through profit) there’s literally no reason to do that besides out of the kindness of their heart which we all know isn’t realistic nor practical.

My point expands beyond that. I’ll concede that you’re not wrong with what your saying but my argument is more macro than this one specific example. One area would be education. If education was free, someone could go to school and get a better job. There’s still the incentive to work hard and improve your conditions and s*** but not at the expense of taking on insane amounts of debt

It’s a loan that is agreed by both parties.

The benefit for the consumer is that if Benny (from aforementioned) believes it to be predatory he/she is well within their rights to go to another lender.

You think about this too much. Its just that, an interest.

i'm not trying to rock the boat, but i've never seen @Synopsis post about trans ethics or trans rights or the socioeconomic reform of lgbtq+ centers.

i think the forum needs to give @Synopsis a chance to long hard look at his cishet privilege and inability to recognize the needs of queer folks.

Why you being a weirdo lol

    Let’s say in western culture.

I’m not American as you know so the social standards would differ.

I don’t think it’ll ever work in western culture due to how we falsely view work. We like to believe the more successful we are the harder we work. We see minimum wage/lower work as “easier” tho it’s more demanding than many high paying jobs especially if you have any care about your job.

There’s this sense that people won’t work as hard if they “give their money to others” but that’s pretty much a thing already with taxes. I’ll be honest and say I don’t really know much about the topic , I just know it wouldn’t be accepted in western society

the point is the person receiving the loan may not realize it is a predatory loan

The sad thing is that I genuinely agree with you on how the monetary policy should be run.

    Unfortunately it’s just not viable.
