computers are better workers
Slave labor dummy cheap tho
computers are better workers
so computers replace workers and then what?
so computers replace workers and then what?
the computers have replaced the workers, isnt that what you want?
you asked if i wanted cereal or starving kids
I think technology will kill capitalism by removing the need for exploitation
ideally, yes
but what’s probably gonna happen is technology will turn most jobs completely automated & the people who would’ve been doing that work will just be unemployed or working for extremely cheap instead while the capitalists reap the benefits
Synopsis I genuinely want to listen my friend. I have been here for like 20 pages trying to get my opinion changed.
I’m unfortunately not 15 anymore so buzz words about organisation and education don’t mean much without an actual action plan.
I understand you perhaps may not have it thats why I’m not really pressing the point.
but you aren't going to have your opinion changed because you aren't even trying to progress off stage one. You aren't accepting the ideas in the first place, hence your whole thing about products and entertainment being changed under socialism and how "government control" of things is bad. So here you are, still operating under those premises, pressing us for actionable plans that you'll reject no matter what because you've already shown you aren't receptive to the idea of socialism based on your preconceived notions of it or some false understanding you have of what it is. Even if i laid out a whole ten point program for you on how to educate and organize people you would reject it, because you don't like the ideas.

Uhm no, that's not what i want, tf.
i want the workers to own the means of production in a democratic fashion, not be tossed out for computers.

yes I agree, I do think some socialist plan will need to be implemented at some point I just dont understand how yelling socialism at people and promoting regression will educate anyone or solve any issue

But isn’t that the point of this.
There needs to be a 10 point plan etc.. that the masses would agree too unless you want to take over by force
And I guarantee I’m more open to a form of socialism then most people.

what is "a form of socialism"

destigmatizing the concept & trying to peel back layers of miseducation from years of propaganda can be useful tbf

read my reply to that other post

its detrimental to the working class under capitalism because it places a downward pressure on wages and employment opportunities, both of which are in terrible condition in the status quo and are necessary for survival in this system
its not inherently a bad thing, the point being made by other posters is that the material conditions that it arises within dictate its usefulness
what is "a form of socialism"
Government provide a base level of minimum and then free market on top of that.
There will be hand wringing about what the minimum is but it’s the best solution imo

it always takes the form of aggressive arguing on here
yup. its like theyre so far gone they think educating people is some weird foreign concept as if theyve never talked to anyone about anything. i mean just last week i was talking to a long time friend of mine and i came away thinking yeah this guy is prolly already a comrade without knowing it. the people are not dumb, they know they are being f***ed over.
Can you stop typing like that it’s making my eyes hurt and I’m not even talking to you
