Feel you. Granted I didn’t make that much but I had to quit my very cushy SDE job cause the work was sooo boring.
Still doing tech stuff but now it’s in a much more interesting area

What do you do now? Yeah I feel like SWE work is so soulless
Now I do like infra work for a genetics lab. I’m really enjoying learning the bio stuff and leaning into that even if the pay isn’t as good
