The fact people put Eminem as the best with WAY more mid then “good” projects, Biggie would still be respected the same
The M Night Shyamalan effect
M Night Shyamalan still making bank and enjoying his riches. pretty good a***ogy in fairness.
Signs still goes hard, when they show the footage of the alien dude my young ass was shook
Drake is doing that now and people still rank him highly
weird how you have to bring down someone on top of the game to uplift someone else

em is also white
Pac got about a billion posthumous albums and they're all bargain bin tier, and he's still in that GOAT conversation. It's a difficult one to judge because BIG dropping mid is incomprehensible because he was such a top-tier lyricist who gave his projects great care.
The What is arguably the best track on RTD and all people talk about is Juicy and Big Poppa because they were the commercial joints that biggie himself wasn't 100% about dropping. It was puff who motivated him to make that call
His post albums were literally unfinished rando songs that werent even suppose to go together & cobbled together by his label & eminem lol thats not an indicator of nothing, & still some of those still have good songs & popular ones that became legit top billboard hits. His label would literally change out beats they lost, splice his words to create new lines, cut og feats etc. Only some songs on each post album are original or near original.
The only post album that was legit & complete is 7Day Theory which is considered top 3 if not 1 of his discog along with MATW & AEOM.

Let's not overly-exaggerate when it comes to Pac's posthumous albums. He only had two posthumous projects that flat out SUCKED, and they were "Loyal 2 The Game" and "Pac's Life".
His other ones, like "R U Still Down", "Until The End of Time", "Better Dayz" and "Still I Rise", were all very good.

Yeah but Em is a special case & its only valid to him
Theres a lot of Rappers that fell off but had one or two crazy albums. Like Snoop who isnt a GOAT within music but loved as a personality.
Imagine the club hits Big woulda made in the early 00s w the neptunes or timbo man
big over i just wanna love u
7 Day Theory isn't a posthumous effort for me because as you've noted it was mostly complete, and it's probably my favourite project by him.
Posthumous albums don't sit right with me like i understand the estate trying to rake in as much cash as they can it dilutes the overall catalogue by dropping glorified cash grabs.
Born Again by Biggie should have never been released because it's so unfocused, uninspired, and a capitalisation of a tragedy

Ok lol so what was your point of the Post comment then.
It seemed you were indicating that Pacs later future efforts alive would have been subpar because of his Post work that might have been for the future. Even tho most of them arent in the original state .
Otherwise idk why it was brought up, & those post albums still sold crazy & almost every single one have a few legit hit songs.
But yeah I agree, post albums suck. Theyre literally doing to XXX rn like how they did Pac. Cobbling together pieces, changing whole structures/feats & creating fake lines etc, its wild & sad.
Pop Smoke too.

Thank you i missed that post
RUSD, UTEOT, and BD all have classic pac tracks

Oh and his Outlawz group album came out a year or so after his death but that was also another legit album that was near completion before his death like 7Day
He'd never drop trash...
Dude's too nice on the mic & has the illest flow of all time.
Imagine the club hits Big woulda made in the early 00s w the neptunes or timbo man
Idk but he's the only rapper with a 10/10 discography with only just 2 albums under his belt
Ja rule tier
Ja Rule would be way bigger n respected today if 50 didnt son him to death then ran with his singing style smh

Fed case didn’t help either

True I forgot about that, Murder inc. literally got ran'd thru & stomped out by the govt. n Irv disappeared n stayed low for years till the early 2010s

It’s different with posthumous albums

Artists not getting creative control on their albums will always be wack to me, but i get why the estate would want to make as much money from it.
With that being said quality control has to be considered. An artist recording a freestyle on instalive shouldn't qualify for a placement on an album just to fill up space.
