M Night Shyamalan still making bank and enjoying his riches. pretty good a***ogy in fairness.

Signs still goes hard, when they show the footage of the alien dude my young ass was shook

I just brought up that scene last night as an example of movies that made me jump

Big would’ve been the undisputed King of Rap if he was still alive.
I don’t see a scenario where he just made s*** albums.

Ja Rule would be way bigger n respected today if 50 didnt son him to death then ran with his singing style smh

Its insane how Ja Rule’s legacy was completely destroyed

Like most rappers aren’t really effected by beef overall, but Ja Rule got did dirty lmao

  • May 30, 2022

He had the marketing machine. Even if he fell off he'd be like 50 and those projects would get respected like GRODT.

KTT would treat him like Kool G Rap though lol. Too dusty

It's mostly because he tried to fight back against it so hard with that Blood In My Eye album. For good reason of course, nigga had all of the east coast going at him along with rappers in the midwest and west coast who were linked with Eminem and 50 Cent. Then there's the whole Murder Inc situation.

It's crazy to think that at one point Ja Rule was one of the biggest artists in rap, and was also public enemy #1 and it took all of mainstream rap to get him outta here

The fact people put Eminem as the best with WAY more mid then “good” projects, Biggie would still be respected the same

Eminem has the benefit of being white

Pac got about a billion posthumous albums and they're all bargain bin tier, and he's still in that GOAT conversation. It's a difficult one to judge because BIG dropping mid is incomprehensible because he was such a top-tier lyricist who gave his projects great care.

The What is arguably the best track on RTD and all people talk about is Juicy and Big Poppa because they were the commercial joints that biggie himself wasn't 100% about dropping. It was puff who motivated him to make that call

the bootlegs of his unreleased stuff that was unchanged kinda saved his posthumous reception

Don’t think that would’ve happened…he was the best rapper alive at that time period…but if he was to drop straight trash his first two album solidify him in the top 5 anyway

    The M Night Shyamalan effect

Stop the Shymalan meme hate. He still doing original movies, even if some are executed better than others. He keeping real film writing alive singled handedly (with a small handful of other people as well)

OLD was good in theory, it just needed better execution, But objectively enjoyable, solid 7/10

posthumous albums don’t really count like that

And Pac already had several classics under his belt anyway

    Wouldnt have happened

Big already had a Joint album with Jay Z lined up so at the very least he would have had one more

I mean Jay isn’t exactly known for his collab albums being good tbh
