I think your question is moot because the United States is the first superpower to make a systematic effort to keep a record of and archive everything possible with backups and every possible translation. People in future will know us for being obsessed with our own little history and making sure that everyone would remember exactly who we were. lol

even though there’s a load of documentation on the U.S, it’s still going to be inevitably interpreted and compared to other countries and empires years from now

what the U.S has to say about its own history (in terms of merit) isn’t going to be weighed much

I don't think those empires are remembered as great, they were successful in many ways but Egypt in particular as basically just a slave kingdom

Kind of crazy to reduce a multi-millennial civilization to a “slave kingdom”

The US being the first record keeping civilization

The US keeping a record of everything in its history

If this were to happen the United States would be remembered as the spiritual successor of the Roman Empire.

pretty reductionist and ahistorical to call Egypt a “slave kingdom”

and i know we live in the times where absolutes aren’t “real” or whatever, but away from the bullshit relativism, Greece, Rome were largely indisputably great lol, idk if you’re trying to avoid sounding like a chud or what

Idk what a chud is but I'm just sharing my perspective based on what is probably a very limited set of information

    What

I'm saying that Egypt, America, Rome, Greece are all successful empires but they found success at the cost of the lifestyles of the citizens where most people spend their lives working to survive in highly competitive economic/social environments
